I am a World Cup Show Jumping rider based in Karaka, New Zealand. BetaVet has been an integral part of my team of youngsters and top competition horses behind the scenes for a number of years. The BetaVet products have helped us along the way to many wins and placings in World Cups and Grand Prixs, as well as the 2017 Horse of the Year Olympic Cup title.

With such a diverse team of horses as well as a number of clients horses under my jurisdiction, BetaVets extensive range of equine supplements has been second to none, providing for all our needs.  All of the horses get a preventative dose of Echinacea Premier as we cant afford to have any viruses, which are easily picked up at big shows with hundreds of horses in close proximity. Jumping in the big tour classes such as those in Australia, can be tough on horses, especially with the concentration and physical exertion required to jump 1.60m. The horses need to feel refreshed and ready to go, even after a few days of tough competition.

I am a 3* Event rider based in the Waikato, New Zealand. I have been involved with the BetaVet range for the past five years, during which time I have had a large variety of horses. I pride myself on the wellbeing of my horses – what goes inside, shines on the outside.

There for we give Steady Steed the night before and morning of Dressage day. After Cross Country and the night before Show Jumping, we often give them an Electrolift paste and a Super Boost paste – this helps to reboot the system and give them the energy they need to perform at their best on the final day of competition.

I’m a 21 Year old farrier working in Kaikoura. I mainly focus on show jumping through out the season. I have been using the BetaVet range of products on my horses for the last six years, and for the last two years been lucky enough to be on the team as sponsored rider.

Living in Kaikoura my horses travel very long distances. Most weekends (for eight months of the year) we are travelling to shows. To stay on top form through the show jumping season they get BetaVet Prepare, which helps keep them looking and feeling great inside and out, all season long. I’m a showjumping rider from Karaka, Auckland. My competitive show jumping team consists of Fernhill Zin Zan (Timmy), Puma des Hayettes (Puma), Astek Vendetta (Rocco) and Light up the Sky (Sass). All three of my horses are on at least 20mls of Prepare daily. As well as having my showjumping horses, my family breed, sell and race Thoroughbreds. BuildaBone is given to our young stock to increase the development and strengthening of their bones at an early age. This is to ensure that their start in growth benefits their performance as racehorses. Our young stock are also put on Gastri-Tec to maximise their gut health at a young age.

I have been a sponsored rider of BetaVet for the past two seasons. It is clear to me that the use of their products has helped with the overall success of my showjumping recently. BetaVet Cool N Tite has helped with the recovery of my horses muscles and joints after competition and travel. The product successfully reduces heat and swelling in their legs after they have jumped, or been standing in the truck for hours at a time. I also love to use Cool N Tite to massage my horses muscles as a treat to show my appreciation for them and what they do for me. I am a 15 year old show jumper from Nelson. I have a great passion for Show Jumping, I love the challenge mentally and physically. Whether I’m training or in the ring, I love that the challenges and rewards never go away.

We are Grand Prix/Young Rider Show Jumpers based in Dannevirke, New Zealand.  We have a large team of horses, and have been using a variety of BetaVet products for the past 3 seasons. Our team consists mostly of younger horses moving through the age group classes. We also have a number of homebreed youngsters on the hills waiting to join our team. The animal health management of our horses is a top priority to us as this ultimately determines the horses performance, especially with the younger horses.

If a horse has a big class at the end of a longer show, or a horse is feeling a little flat, a Super Boost energiser gives them that little get up go needed to maintain a competitive edge.

We also have in the stable, Electrolift, which we use when we travel long distances. Echinacea  and Equi-Coff is always on hand for a horse showing cold symptoms .

I have used BetaVet for many years now and it is a key part of our ponies preparation. Being in the Show Ring having my ponies healthy inside, helps them look and go their best. BetaVet products are a major part of the stable.

Another great BetaVet product is Flexalot, I use this on the higher-level horses when they are going to hard training sessions. It aids in the maintenance and flexibility of joints and enables greater enjoyment in their work. There is a withholding time on this product, so it can not be used at competitions but is great for help with training.

Steedy Steed is also a great product for nervous spooky horses, it is a calming aid which enables them to stay more relaxed when travelling and out at competitions. My young ones have this when they go out to lessons and competitions.

My current team of horses includes Ngahiwi Frostie (owned by myself and Christine Weal). We recently represented New Zealand at the 2018 Australasian Grand National Showing Championships in Sydney where we placed in top 10 finalists. I know the BetaVet products helped with the amazing way Frostie handled travelling on a plane and competing in such an intense atmosphere. In particular I used BetaVet Gastri-tec whilst travelling and once there, as it helped to keep his appetite up despite the travel stress.
